Gabriel P. Oliveira

Data Scientist and PhD Candidate

I am a PhD Candidate at the Computer Science Graduate Program of Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (PPGCC/UFMG) in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and I am currently visiting Politecnico di Torino (Italy), hosted by the SmartData@PoliTO center and the TNG Group. I obtained my MSc and BSc degrees in Computer Science from the same university in 2021 and 2018, respectively.

I am a member of the Laboratory of Interdisciplinary Computer Science (CS+X) at UFMG and I worked as a Data Scientist in the Analytical Capabilities Project (a collaboration between DCC/UFMG and GSI/MPMG). My research interests include data science, social computing, music information retrieval and complex networks.
